Business Directory: 20,000 directories are distributed through Membership, Hotels, new Residents, new businesses, tourists, City hall and 14,000 of the directories are direct mailed to Madison residents. Display advertising is also available. Distribution is scheduled for the fall. Membership dues include your business listing in the directory.

Madison Magazine: This full color professionally published magazine offers wonderful advertising opportunities. All members are listed by categories in this quality magazine. Distributed in relocation packets, through Membership, Hotels, Doctor’s offices, Realtors, Banks and the Chamber office. The Madison Magazine will be placed in all the City of Madison packets for BRAC.

Additional advertising is available.

Internet Exposure: The Chamber has a home page that includes the business directory, giving members worldwide exposure. They also may be linked to their personal web page from their listing for free. Members also have the opportunity to purchase banner ads.

Business Locator Map: This map is designed to identify business locations in the City of Madison pertaining to tourism. Approximately 10,000 have been printed for distribution. The maps are distributed through hotels, tourism packets through the Madison Chamber of Commerce, North Alabama Tourism Association and the Huntsville/Madison County Convention and Tourism Bureau as well as our eight Welcome Centers throughout the State of Alabama.

Chamber Monthly Newsletter: Each month the Chamber newsletter is e-mailed to over 400 businesses and individuals. The Chamber also encloses the newsletter into our new business packets and the New Neighbor bags. All members are welcome to promote their business in the chamber newsletter, just e-mail it to Bmwagner1@aol.com by the last Friday of the month, and the Chamber will put them in for you.

Always Buy Chamber: Member to Member Discount Program: Participants in the ABC program enable Chamber members the opportunity to offer their goods and services to other Chamber members at a savings, opening up the door to hundreds of potential customers. A brochure listing each participant and the specific discount they offer is distributed to each current member along with their ABC card.

Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings: These ceremonies, which increase the visibility of new and expanding businesses, are provided to Chamber members only. The Chamber also contacts the local media, City Officials and Chamber members for the businesses. The Chamber provides the Red Ribbon and scissors.

Business Expo: Held in October at a location in Madison that gives the Chamber members the best exposure. Booths are made available to our membership to showcase their products or a service to hundreds of attendees in one day! Door prizes given away during the Expo provide opportunities for the Chamber members to promote their products or service to the public by donating items. This event is featured in the local newspapers, radio stations and billboards providing booth participants broad advertising exposure. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

New Neighbor Welcome Bags: The Chamber provides a new neighbor gift bag to all residents that move to Madison. This is an opportunity for our membership to provide promotional material, which is absolutely free to our membership. The Chamber distributes approximately 100 bags per month through the Madison Water department. This is another way that the Chamber works for you.
