Our Executive Director, Michelle Epling, attended training at the Southeast Institute for Organization Management in Athens last week.
Institute for Organization Management is a program designed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to enhance individual performance, elevate professional standards, and recognize associations, chambers of commerce, and other nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to nonprofit management. The skills and tools Michelle will learn throughout the program will be crucial in advancing our organization to the next level.
After completion of the four-year institute, graduates receive the IOM Graduate Recognition, signifying 96 hours of course instruction in nonprofit management.
