Public Policy

The Madison Chamber’s public policy agenda aims to enhance businesses, overcome barriers, support our future workforce, and advocate on the federal, state, and local level for business owners in the City of Madison. Through the help of the Chamber’s dedicated board members, we closely monitor legislative actions that could affect the City of Madison and work to advocate for policies that support the hard-working individuals of our city. Behind the scenes, the Chamber connects with elected officials monthly and pushes for initiatives that support small businesses and entrepreneurs, workforce development and education initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and other measures that can help the local business community.

In 2023 the Chamber will be hosting the Pastries & Policies networking series, which will provide opportunities to for our members to connect with our legislative officials. These events provide an excellent opportunity to network and socialize with other business professionals in a relaxed and open setting. This event is free to attend, members are encouraged to bring co-workers, friends, and local business associates to create a diverse and lively group of attendees.
